How long does it take to get my TAO device?
After you send us your impressions and we approve them, you can expect to receive your custom TAO device within 2-3 weeks.
Is there a warranty on my TAO device?
Reach Sleep provides a 12-month warranty from the shipping date to the device provider, ensuring the TAO device is free from material and workmanship defects.
Within the first 60 days from shipping, Reach Sleep will replace the device at no cost.
For up to 12 months from the shipping date, Reach Sleep will replace any device at no charge if there is in-mouth material breakage, provided no modifications have been made that affect the device’s normal use.
For any issues other than in-mouth breakage, and if no new impressions are required, Reach Sleep will replace the device at a 50% cost.
If new impressions are needed, the warranty will be void, and a new device will be billed at full cost.
The warranty does not cover lost devices. The replacement will be the same model, and all replaced devices must be returned either before or after the replacement.
Why do I need a new TAO device every 12-18 months?
Firstly, we aim to prevent the accumulation of bacteria and plaque that can lead to cavities and other concerns. Secondly, since your TAO naturally wears down over time, we want you to have peace of mind with a fresh, comfortable, and clean replacement.
What is TAO made out of?
The TAO device is crafted from a durable, biocompatible dental-grade photopolymer plastic. This material provides flexibility, allows it to mold comfortably to the jaw, and gives it a clear, clean appearance.
What makes TAO better?
Is TAO different than over-the-counter oral devices?
There are various over-the-counter sleep oral devices, and while they may be cheaper, they come with several drawbacks. They are bulky, uncomfortable, not custom-fitted to the individual, and often end up being unused.

Is TAO right for me?
ReachSleep products are right for you if you:
- Snore: Especially snore loudly due to partial airway obstruction during sleep. Another symptom is snore regularly and have difficulty sleeping because of airway blockage
- Cannot tolerate CPAP machines: Individuals who have tried CPAP therapy but experience discomfort, dryness, or other issues like claustrophobia.
- Wake up suddenly in the middle of the night: This is due to pauses in breathing, but the condition is not severe enough to require CPAP therapy.
- Travel or Have Lifestyle Constraints: Those who need a portable solution for managing snoring during travel.
ReachSleep products will not work for you if have:
- Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea: People with severe OSA, especially those with significant daytime sleepiness or higher apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) scores, may need more intensive treatment like CPAP or surgery, as oral appliances are generally less effective for severe cases.
- Central Sleep Apnea: Oral appliances are not effective for central sleep apnea, which is caused by a failure in the brain’s regulation of breathing, rather than airway obstruction.
- Severe Dental or Jaw Problems: People with severe dental issues, poorly aligned teeth, or significant TMJ dysfunction may not be candidates for oral appliances unless these problems are treated or managed.
Can I use TAO if I have missing teeth? Dentures? Dental implants? Veneers?
If you have any loose fillings or loose teeth, persistent jaw pain, or have been diagnosed with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD), consult your dentist or physician before using ReachSleep. ReachSleep products are not intended for users with braces or dentures.
